ENGLISH ALIVE FAIR 2016
6 de July 2016
Last week, the students of 7th and 8th grades presented the traditional English Alive Fair at the canteen of our school.
The students of 8th showed different stands showing some important cultural facts about some States of U.SA, which was the topic chosen for this year.
The students of 7th grade presented some of the most marvelous natural sites of the world such as The Marbles Caves in the South of Chile, and many other Heritage Sites of the humanity.
Many classes of the school were invited to visit the stands, and both, the ones who made the performance as well as the students who visited them, interchanged a fluent conversation in English. The parents were also invited, who were forced to speak English at his best to keep up with the event.
This is a very attractive methodology in which the students prepared during 2 or 3 weeks their material, going to the computer room to investigate and write some aspects of the places. Then, in the classroom they check how to pronounce the words and practice how to say the information fluently.
Congratulations to all the students.
