Spelling Bee Contest 5° y 6°

On May 10th, the students of 5th and 6th, participated in our 6th school spelling contest. Miss Ximena Carrasco prepared this activity during the English class for about a month. The students studied a 59 words list. They had to learn how to use their English dictionaries, to classify and write sentences with the words. The 5 best of each grade represented each class at the Canteen of our school.
The words were shown in a screen meanwhile the participants were spelling them This made everybody feel engaged with the activity.
The teachers of English feel satisfied with this project because we consider our students learnt and enjoyed it a lot. Congratulations to all the contestants who represented their classes.
The finalist students received some presents thanks to the sponsor of Pumahue school.
The final winners of the Spelling Bee 5th,6th, 2016 were:
1st place Matías Arriagada Anguita 5th B
2nd place Alonso Peña Fuentealba 5th B
3rd place Samira Game López 6th A
